Week 4 Break Homework
Expanding your awareness
Homework:
Schedule a 30-minute catch-up with me during the holidays as a check-in: https://kriswiltsee.as.me/?appointmentType=29923043
Look at the following strategies for gaining Awareness of your chosen villain during the break.
Watch and listen to the recommendations below. If you find others for your chosen villain, share them on Discord.
For the movies/TV recommendations Journal Prompt:
Observe what the role of the Villain plays within the story. What is their ultimate aim?
Observe what the role of the Hero is within the story. What is their ultimate aim?
Observe the steps that the hero takes to overcome the villain.
Observe the transformation of the villain throughout the story. How do they change?
Strategies for Awareness:
Ask others about your villain and their experience of it: If you feel safe doing so. You may want to ask - have I shown this side of me a lot? Who do you think that I got it from? Do you remember when I became like this?
Love yourself: Adopt a Mantra that reflects this sense of self-love. “I love me, all of me” “I adopt all aspects of myself, fulfilling my bodies with total love.”
JournalPrompt:
Observe your villain: The more ability we have to gain some objectivity from our villain, to see how it works the easier it comes to redeem it.
Use the Karmic Errands Practice of Play with the prompt to build your awareness of your villain with the mandate that you do not need to be pulled into the drama of your villain to do so. Your karmic errand exercise could simply be sitting down to your TV and choosing to watch something that gives you insight. The resource is here.
You can do the following Villain meditation to explore and move some energy through your body. It is here.
